Synopsis:

The hometown I had suddenly returned to did not welcome me back. A sudden downpour of rain. An old house with a leaky ceiling. I went to a guest house that towered over the shabby place and asked for help. No, I begged.

I asked for a room from a guesthouse owner, who said he wasn't in business, but I didn't realize at the time that I was about to be pressed into a corner.

"I know you. You're Ai Ying, Grandma Chunyeo's granddaughter."

"How do you know?"

Somehow I ended up speaking with him and eating his food, after hearing him mention my grandmother. The more I got to know him, the more I felt an unexplainable emotion.

"Do you want to sleep with me?"

I thought I might be at the end of my rope, but being with this man made me hope for more. And so begins what might be the hottest summer of my life.
